We are so sorry that it has taken so long to write!!!

From the very beginning, we new that you were the right company to work with when planning the most important event AND trip of our lives. You were warm and welcoming when we met, and were an invaluable resource for the many questions from ourselves and our guests. You held our hands (when needed!) and guided us through some nervous times. You gave incredible advice to us before, during, and even after our wedding. From helping us to choose a wonderful resort for a group of 20, to guiding us to the perfect honeymoon destination, you always knew exactly what we would need.

Thank you for all of the emails, the phone calls, the advice. Thank you for helping to keep the resort staff on track, and for getting them to respond to us when they were a little bit slow ;) Thank you for giving us emergency contact information- you have no idea how reassuring that was :)

We cannot express how wonderful you have been to us and to our families and friends. And knowing the tough times you were having simultaneously (Mexican drug fighting, swine flu, cancellations, airlines going bankrupt!!!), we appreciate your help even more.

You made a stressful time enjoyable. You helped to make stressful situations manageable. You helped us to make the entire wedding and events surrounding it wonderful and memorable.

There is not much more to say, for how do you say thank you for doing so much. You are so wonderful, and we thank you over and over.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and support to

Matt and I.  We had an amazing time at Jamaica and couldn't have asked

for a better day.  I would 100% recommend the Riu Ocho Rios to any

couple who are looking to get married in Jamaica.   I would (and have

already) recommended The Wedding Holiday to a number of brides.  We

met a few couples while we were away and all of them seemed to have

some issue or another with their travel agent/plans.  I was very happy

to boast that we and our group had no issues whatsoever with our

travel arrangements and even had a few people who had to make

alternative arrangements with no issue.

We truly appreciate all the work you did to make our

group and trip amazing.  Put us in the 100% completely satisfied

with everything list of clients.

Sorry for the lateness, but better late then never! I just want to thank you all, (Lorraine, Jonathan, and Marisa), for all your hard work. I know that our wedding did not come at the best of times, with everything that went on (Conquest, Swine Flu) but you guys out shined yourselves. With our wedding having to relocate from Mayan Riviera to Punta Cana in less then 2 months…Lorraine you were quick with the whole moving process. Jonathan you helped us pick a beautiful resort in so little time. The Dreams Palm beach was perfect! Relocating 37 people, (from Toronto, USA, Argentina) to another hotel, could have not been easy, but you did it, putting all of our needs first. Thank you for also helping us choose our honeymoon resort. Majestic Elegance was a great choice for a honeymoon. All of your hard work paid off, we had a wedding of our dreams, everything turned out more beautiful then expected! Marissa, thank you so much for all the hard work you put into communicating with the resort coordinator, making sure that all of our requests were met. Thank you for taking the time to meet with us, to discuss our plans and requests. Lorraine, Jonathan and Marisa, I know that a group of 37 people is not easy to manage, on top of everything else that you were dealing with, but you handled it like the professionals that you are. I know that we would have not been able to pull this off without you. Thank you once again for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

With so many clients requiring your staff’s attention on the daily bases, we certainly expected that we would need to handle the wedding details own on our. However, this was certainly not the case. Jonathan, Marisa and yourself were constantly available, attentative and helpful in every possible way throughout the planning process. Specifically, when the Swine Flu impacted our destination wedding, each of you made the transition to the Riu Macao, Punta Cana, swift, effortless and uncomplicated. Thank you!! As a bride and groom we definitely appreciated all the assistance The Wedding Holiday offered and these thoughts and sentiments were positively echoed by all our guests.

 

We would like to especially thank Marisa for all her hard work and dedication. Without her, our wedding day would not have been flawless and perfect. Every single little detail was taken care of on our wedding day, and it is because of her that we managed to enjoy our holidays and have the destination wedding we have always envisioned. We're so sorry for taking so long to send some pictures of our wedding!  It was so beautiful there and EVERYONE in Jamaica was so nice and friendly.  It was such an amazing place and we're so glad in a crazy way that our trip was cancelled to Mexico.

 

Tim and I are most likely going back to Negril Jamaica on our 1 year anniversary!!! It was that good!

Hello All,

  We returned home from our amazing trip in Costa Rica Saturday, and now it is back to reality.  We had an incredible wedding, with some bumps before, but the day of was perfect!  I will send you a few pictures when I get them.  This is a fantastic part of the country, and we knew what to expect and it was all of that. 

I sincerely appreciate the calls that Marissa made!  I am sure you had to get up at 5 to get us in the room finally.  It really eased my mind to know that had it come to it, I could have called and I was certain you would be able to help if we were stuck.  I was really pleased with the wedding and the trip all together!  The wedding was perfect for our, as well as the guests' needs.  I do not have the photographer's pictures yet, but I will forward one or two once they arrive in a few weeks.

  I thank you all very much for all of your help and dedication.  I have been recommending you to all I know, and will certainly continue to do so. 

  I am sure this has been a year full of difficulties more than most know, and I am really pleased that with all of this was going on you were still invested in the outcome of our wedding and our plans.

Thank you for wondering how our trip went.

I just want to say a big thank you again to all of you for all your help and hard work.

I am so so happy with the choice of the resort and the wedding in general. I have no regrets and i will totally do it again and not change anything to it.

Many thanks. All of our guest had a blast!

The resort was big, but i will totally recommend it to anyone. It is a gorgeous resort. Everybody was saying that it was the best resort they stayed at. The grounds are just unreal. So beautiful and the food was really good. From all my guests, i didn't hear one bad thing.

We got an upgrade for the first week. We had the honeymoon suite, in a brand new building. It was very big and very nice.

I am missing it already. My sister and her husband just had a blast too!!!! They are already saving their money to go back nest year! Who would you taught that a few months ago.... ??? lol

The weather was so amazing all the first week. I think it rain one day for like 5 minutes and that's it. Just beautiful! 

And the second week... was nice until Thursday and then it rained until we left, on Sunday night... Kinda sucks, but not much we could do about it. The wedding.... wow, the wedding!!!!

Well above our expectations!!!!!!! Just prefect! Pretty much all of our guests said that it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to.

The gazebo over at the resort is just breath taking. We were walking around it during the week, before we got married and we all had tears in our eyes... The pictures you see on the internet just don't make it as beautiful as it really is....

We had the reception outside in a private area... Open air! It was amazing and different!

The wedding coordinator was really nice and a great help.

I don't have the professional pictures yet, but my photographer was just amazing! He did some really cool shots and you can tell that he really love his job.

If you have brides looking for a good photographer, i would totally recommend him.

He does a lot of destination weddings. He's from Alliston, Ontario and his name is Phil Steignard.

I can give you more info if you would like.

I joined just 2 pictures for fun.... i can send you a few more when i get the one from the photographer.

I haven't got pictures organized yet to share but I just wanted to report that we had a fabulous time and everything went well for the wedding and our week at Dreams.

Claire thanks you for the gift you left for her at the resort .

In short, nothing against the other award winning hotels in the Cancun area but this hit the mark for me and my taste in destination; low rise, nobody to bother you on the beach, large but not huge, intimate but still plenty of choice, excellent food across the board, service that is very willing if still establishing its consistency in all the restaurants. Sometimes there was a bit more of a wait than one might have hoped for but this paled in comparison with the friendliness of all the staff and the pleasantness of the front desk personnel and the great atmosphere at the resort.

The new owners and management have turned this hotel into a first class operation. I'll be interested to see the rates for next year! This truly was a high end all inclusive and an excellent deal.

It really fit the bill and we all had a great time. Thanks again for all your help.

About 8 months ago my daughter decided to get married in the Dominican Republic. We all thought that was great and I still do because of Lorraine.

It started with Jonathan meeting with my wife Kathy, daughter Maggi, and son in-law to be Kevin and myself in October 2006. He explained everything to us. We realized that with his help he could give us the wedding my daughter wanted. He started by asking us what we really wanted. Then told us what he could suggest based on  experience, which was everything we wanted and more. They made us a personalized invitation explaining  about the resorts restaurants, accommodations, amenities, local attractions the cost and how to make payments.

It did not stop there. The Wedding Holiday did excellent work for us when the resort and the Dominican government added a wedding tax. She spoke to the resort and the resort stayed with their original agreement with us. Without their help it could of cost us thousands of dollars more. The Wedding Holiday was also excellent when one of our passengers dropped out and we rebooked someone else in their place. The whole team is very pleasant, professional and easy to get along with.

I plan to book all of our future vacations with them.
